A Note from Our Pastor:

I hope you know that there is a place for you here at Our Saviour. Because of the great joy we have found in the blessings of God, the way He has extended His love, mercy, and grace to us, we desire to share with you and pass on the same great gifts we have received.

When we look at the world around us, we see many people seeking "something to believe in." Many say they have found it, others claim that it doesn’t matter what you believe in, as long as you believe. Here at Our Saviour, we seek God’s complete truth as conveyed in the Bible, and we desire to convey this truth in its fullness, with love and care.

As committed members of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), we believe strongly in the truth as found in Holy Scripture, God’s presence in worship as we celebrate Word and Sacrament, the death and resurrection of Christ and the Holy Spirit’s work through us as we seek to love those around us.

"Presentable." What exactly does this mean? Depending on where you worship, those who show up in their "Sunday best" look strange to those who show up in their street clothes. Those who show up in their street clothes appear strange to those in their Sunday best. What then are we to do? The beauty of God’s grace is that not one of us is able to enter the church "presentable." But each of us, when we have received God’s grace and forgiveness because of what Christ has done, it is not how we enter that makes us presentable, but how we leave. When we come and receive God’s gifts through Word and Sacrament, not one of us leaves the way that we came; we are forgiven, renewed, restored, made Holy by the blood of the Lamb, Christ Jesus.

When we experience God's love, we leave changed. We come not to be simply entertained, nor do we come to feel better. Rather, we come to experience God, receive His blessings, pray, praise, and give thanks.

Jesus desires that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. This is why we say "Christianity is a religion for everyone," which is why we would love for you to "come and see" that the Lord is good. Please join us for worship, food, study, song, friendship, and of course forgiveness. In the spirit of truth and love, we want to do all that we are able in order to invite you to join us for a safe, worshipful, fruitful, and welcome experience.

But we come to understand the great lengths which God has done to save us, to thank and praise Him for His goodness and mercy, and to uncover His good and perfect will for our lives. We don’t do everything perfectly, but we are committed to walking together even when there are bumps along the way.

Please feel free to look around this site, call or e-mail or set up a time to chat with our pastor or a Lay Minister. God be with you as you continue on His journey He has prepared for You.

Praise be to God for His faithfulness!
